Our favourite rooms
Each apartment is unique, but all are lovely. Apartment Principal is the best option for big families – it can sleep up to six, with two on fold-out beds. The stylish Paso Doble suite could be the perfect hideaway for families with a teen or two in too; it has two huge bedrooms, each with its own private Juliet balcony, and a generous living space with a floor-to-ceiling bay window giving great views of the Barcelona backstreets. If you’re a larger group, perhaps two families travelling together, some apartments interconnect to create three-bedroom, three-bathroom super stays (the largest combination is Ghost and Finn).
Don't be too alarmed if you exit the lift on the wrong floor and find yourself in an office – it’s a quirk of the planning regulations that one floor of the building needs to remain office space. Still, it's handy if you need to send a fax or make photocopies...
If you'd like the fridge stocked with something specific, ask in advance.
