They don’t have interconnecting rooms but there are two fantastic two-bedroom bunk-ups: the Mezzanine Loft Suite and the Terrace Loft Suite. The three-bedroom Bartlett Suite is the daddy of them all: it sleeps six (or two adults and five children with a foldaway bed) and has a great open-plan living room and kitchen. Bear in mind that Deluxe Suites two-bedroom suites and the Bartlett all have balconies.

There is no lift at No.5 Maddox Street, but pushchairs and prams can be stored at ground level. There's always a staff member on hand to take your luggage upstairs.

Stayed on

We loved

We loved the location, lovely room with ample size, wonderful amenities and outstanding hotel staff!

Don’t expect

The internet access charge was excessive. Lack of lift made it a hike to get up the rooms.

Rating: 10/10 stars

Stayed on We travelled with my 12 year old daughter.

We loved

Stylish decor, very comfortable bed and generally very well laid out. Although in a busy area of London, it was very quiet in the apartment.

Don’t expect

Goodies in the fridge could've been better, and the wine is overpriced for what it is.

Rating: 5/10 stars

Stayed on

We loved

The most amazing location in the centre of London, with the top attractions close to hand either by walking, tube or taxi

Don’t expect

If booking a two-bedroom loft suite, be advised that they are on the top floor with no lifts.
